I have never had a traffic or criminal charge, so I was inexperienced and unaware of what was to come. Roman not only brought me comfort and helped me understand the path I was about to go down, but he turned what could have been a criminal charge and $10,000+ in fines into a traffic ticket and a $300 fine. I wondered if it was worth getting a lawyer for my case as I felt I was screwed either way and may as well save the money for all the fines and get a public defender.
