From the moment I reached out to her, I was met with professionalism, expertise, and a level of personalized service that exceeded all my expectations. As a first-time homebuyer, I had a million questions and Erika was always there, and quickly, with answers. I never felt like a bother and she really did hold my hand every step of the way. With a limited budget and the market the way it’s been we didn’t realize how important it was to have someone who could get us approval letters in literal minutes. Erika was always just a phone call, email, or text away. She would run numbers for me for every crazy idea I had to stretch our budget and it gave me the peace of mind that even though the market was rough, we were truly running through every scenario we could to make things work. I was told going into this that the bank is always what holds real estate transactions up but Erika and her team were ALWAYS 5 steps ahead of everyone else, we never had to wait on them. The seller’s whole side was a complete and utter nightmare during this transaction. We dealt with so many delays and Erika and her team did EVERYTHING they could to help us not lose money after locking into our rate. I am beyond grateful. A lot of people questioned why I was using Homestead instead of a “going directly to the bank” and interestingly enough, before locking in, I spoke with a family member who recently started working at Chase. He gave me his best rates at the time and Erika was still able to get me the same rate but with even fewer points. Erika took the time to understand what was best for us and what was best given the wild market we were shopping in. This just solidified my belief that there wasn’t anyone better to have chosen for this transaction. I cannot recommend Erika highly enough. Her dedication to client satisfaction, coupled with her expertise and integrity, sets her apart. Mary R If you like doing business with a bank that is antiquated this is your place. If you try to make a payment before its due to avoid a late fee their system is antiquated and youre supposed to know to call them and go through all of their prompts instead of trying to pay it online which it should be able to take a payment but of course they have it set up so that you end up paying a fee and pay late because their system doesnt process it on time. Convenient to them to not have an adequate payment system that can take your payment when its made so then they get to charge you another fee. Absolutely disgusting
