John Purchased an Alex Sepkus diamond ring at Haydens Jewelers recently. The ring is unique and beautiful. The experience at Haydens was even better - just exemplary. The staff and owners at Haydens are nothing but a pleasure to work with. They are friendly, genuine, knowledgeable. We have worked with a number of jewelers over the years. Haydens is hands down the best!! Such a great experience.

I had been planning to get my white gold jewelry cleaned, and they kindly did it for free even though the piece wasn’t originally from their store! Alberto didn’t hesitate to help, and Lisa was so friendly, offering helpful advice and introducing me to some of their beautiful pieces. It was a quick interaction, but truly worthwhile. Kelcey C My boyfriend and I dropped in, looking to see if they had star sapphires available. We were interested in getting an engagement ring. The staff had one available, but it didnt suit me. Jon spoke with us and let us know they make custom jewelry. We decided to give it a try. I sent in some photo ideas of what I wanted. Jon put a rough design in front of us based on what I sent. They have special software that can render a ring on a screen. It gave us a good idea of what we wanted. We sat with Jon making adjustments until we were happy with what we had. Jon then had a 3d print of the ring made. He brought in samples of different star sapphires for us to look at and with the 3d print, we could see it come together. Once we finalized the details we had the ring made. I was extremely happy with the result. I feel that I have such a unique and special ring. The fact that Jon was able to take our ideas and make such a beautiful piece of jewelry made us so happy. The staff was all so sweet and helpful. I cant say enough good things about this store. We plan on purchasing another ring for my boyfriend. I also want to get some other pieces for myself. They have such a wonderful selection. Cant wait to go back!

Feroze Munim Today I brought in a watch band to be adjusted for a watch I did not buy at the store. The employee graciously assisted me without charge. Very courteous and nice staff.

Joanne Ottaviano This is a true “Mom and Pop” jewelry store. Now that phrase can be tricky if you had lousy parents, and might not sound appealing. But trust me, these two are the kind of parents you’d actually want running your life. They do everything in-house from repairs, sales, and being warm and friendly. Before they took over, the original “Pop” was at the bench, so you’re basically getting decades of jewelry wisdom handed down like a family recipe. They’re personable, honest, and so trustworthy that if they suddenly decided to open a mechanic shop, I’d hand them the keys to my vintage car without a second thought. They’ve got it all from new jewelry, antique gems, watches, you name it. And they’ll do it all from fixing it, polishing it, or making it sparkle like new. They’ll also buy your Grandma’s gaudy gold bracelet if you’re tired of keeping it in a shoe box under your bed along with the spider webs. Cash it in and have some play money. I used to be loyal to a jewelry store in Closter, NJ, but I took a daring cross-border adventure (don’t worry, no politics here), to Nanuet, NY, and discovered this little “gem”(no pun intended). Best decision ever.

I couldnt help but notice the upscale, modern and luxurious ambiance. The store had a variety of gourgous one of a kind jewelry, home gifts, and clothing at surprisingly affordable price ranges. From affordable well crafted, unique fashion jewelry to gourgous traditional gems and diamond pieces, The Goldsmith offers something for everyone. The best part was I was able to leave with two beautiful and unique pieces of jewelry while spending less than one hundred dollars. It is no wonder why I cant wait to go back!

Nadine Ive known Joe and Ina for many years, from when they were in Forest Ave, flea market! They both will go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. They truly have a unique shop, lots of vintage jewelry, I think thats what drew me to them in the first place, nothing is same ole same ole. I was so happy to see theyre still in business on New Dorp Lane, since Ive been off the island for over 8 years. I travelled to them from upstate NY to get my granddaughter a piece of jewelery for her 18th birthday and graduation. As soon as I walked in Ina remembered me, we had some nice conversation and a pleasant shopping experience! Sakora Salley I totally recommend this place! Friendly staff and quick service. The band of my ring was warped and I had called ahead of time to see if they were able to fix it. I went in and they fixed it right in front of me, took no more than three minutes! If you’re looking for a jeweler that you can buy and sell to, considerate staff, and for reasonable pricing, this is your place!
