1 /5 Giselle Tolentino: This is not a legitimate business setting — beware. The listing makes it seem like a professional suite, but it’s actually inside someone’s apartment, which was never disclosed upfront. I was in a rush and didn’t have time to research, but I deeply regret using this service.
I was charged $15 to notarize a single document — a massive markup considering the standard rate in New York is $2-$3. I felt taken advantage of, but being in someone’s private home isn’t exactly the place to argue over being scammed.
Save yourself the time, money, and discomfort. Go to a proper notary or UPS store. This was misleading and unprofessional.
