Chiarino: Correction: Adolph (Adie) Chiarino inherited the clientele & business from his father, Lou (Ludovico) Chiarino after he passed away in the early 70s and hes the true founder of this company. Lou was a good man & even paid premiums for some people who were unable to make their payments at the time. When Lou passed away, there was a long line of people around the block of the funeral home paying their respect to Lou Chiarino. After his passing, Adie took over the business that his father started when Adie was a young boy.

1 /5 Ken Boise: My one and only experience with the Chiarino agency was has been VERY DISAPPOINTING. We recently moved back to NY from Ohio and transferred some Allstate policies to Chiarinos because they were reasonably close by. Once we were more settled, we wanted to move those policies to a different agency to combine with other policies we have. Unfortunately, Allstate does not allow a policy holder to change agencies in NY (another issue that any Allstate policy holder should be aware of) unless the first agency signs off on the transfer. Chiarinos refused to release us so we could move our Allstate policies, even after Allstate talked to them directly. I think they have forgotten who the Customer is here. I will not be held hostage, so we will move to another insurance company so we dont have to deal with Chiarinos again. I advise anyone thinking about doing business with these people to consider this - they are more interested in keeping a policy than satisfying their customers. Well, they WILL lose our business, and we will tell everyone we know how it went down.

5 /5 john lyon: I have dealt with them for nearly twenty years..... trust is very important..... I will feel badly to be having to ever look elsewhere..... What really stinks is when those who do right have to pay the price for those that do not........ I guess if I have to look elsewhere it could not be said it was because of the services rendered...... more likely...... it would have to do with other customers cheating and those that do not having to pay the price for their lack of integrity..... thanks for many years of good service.... sorry to see that these current times have changed us all... and not necessarily for the best.
