Stonebridge Financial Partners - Grand Rapids (MI)

KEN CHRISTIE I have been a client of Concorde Financial for a decade and have been always satisfied with their service until this year. We all hope such companies, who do our taxes understand the tax codes since we are paying for their knowledge, so be warned that Concorde will not stand behind their returns should you get notified of an error, as I did. I received notice from the MI Dept of Treasury for a past return this year that was not correct and when I took the notice back to Concorde, they told me that the only thing i had to do was to return a copy of my tax return from another state as requested. I made sure it was the right thing to do and they assured me it was. Two months later I get a second notice from the MI Dept of Treasury and stating the same issue. This time, Concorde would not return my calls, the lady who did my taxes..Heather..kept telling her assistance she was on a conference call each time i showed up in person...twice..and then promised me i would be contacted by the owner...Mark..be email since he was to respond. It is now over three weeks since i visited and nothing has been sent to me or called by anyone. i even called the MI Dept of Treasury to understand myself what was wrong with my return, despite the fact I did not do them and expected it to be correct. They told me that Concorde, being a MI company should have known what the requirements were and as a result, i had told Concorde i would gladly pay whatever tax was due but I did not feel interest was my responsibility because they were at fault. Obviously Concorde does not want to admit anything but not to stand behind their work, I feel, is the last thing anyone of us would expect to happen. I paid them to know the requirements and to do them correctly..why should we have to pay for their mistakes and why is there no professional courtesy to return my calls and my visits. I will never recommend them for such a lack of professionalism and for not standing by their work and I caution anyone to reconsider using them if you are looking for a company who stands behind their work, especially when dealing with taxes.

John Lockheed My experience with Dylan Kruathofer was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, communication was poor — I constantly had to follow up just to get basic updates, and when I did get a response, it often left me more confused than before. There was little guidance through the process, and I never felt like my concerns were taken seriously. Getting a home loan is already stressful, and instead of making things easier, working with Dylan only added more frustration. I was left feeling unsupported and misled, and I would not recommend him to anyone looking for a smooth and professional mortgage experience.
