1 /5 Luis: I wish I could put 0 stars. Racist staff. I went in last week in hopes of opening an account, gave the man at the front my ID and voter registration, he was looking at my ID all weird as if it was fake, or something then after about 15 minutes I finally get called into the office, the lady started asking me all these questions about where I use to live because the lady said my Michigan ID “has a big dark spot on it” in response I pulled out my military ID and gave it to her and said “well if you think my ID is fake here’s my military ID” and then again, she was looking at it as if it was also fake, I did not like how I was treated when the gentleman who was next to me didn’t even live in Lincoln park but yet they weren’t asking him to confirm 3+ addresses from where he use to live, or being weird with his ID. It’s sad how I served this country just to be treated like this. They must’ve never seen a brown man who served.

1 /5 Elizabeth Roby: I switched from a big bank to this credit union wanting to have something local. Unfortunately I’m regretting my decision. The hours are not compatible with my work schedule and the customer service is lack luster. You cannot deposit cash at the ATM, no deposit slips in the overnight box, ect. They also have shorter account numbers that not all companies take. When you sign up they tell you sometimes you need the longer one, but only put the short one on your laminated card and website. The only way to get the longer one is to physically go into the office… which I cannot do with my work schedule. So if I need to make a payment online, I have to take PTO so I can go to the bank to be given this information. This institution does not seem very customer focused.

1 /5 JS Howell: This is by far the worst bank Ive ever been to. The staff is not friendly or professional in any way, you cant even go into the building itself anymore they wont even open the doors to inform you they just yell at you through the glass and tell you to go to the drive thru. The number they have listed does not connect you to their office at all so dont waste your time with the automated message. So if you have any questions or concerns that need to be handled just know you cant call, and you cant go to the building itself, anything you need has to be done in the drive through. Theyve also made me wait 6 months to get my debit card because I had a FOUR DOLLAR over draft on my last account. Im definitely cutting ties with them asap

1 /5 Heather Oliver: This place is getting worse and worse as time goes on. Not friendly staff when you call anymore. I try to take care of my grandmothers finances and am on her account and they are no help whats so ever. What good is her direct deposit if they dont accept the deposit till days later. (They told me they must accept it first) never had a problem with deposits on Saturday till the last few months. Rude. Uncaring. And certainly does not care about customers anymore.

1 /5 Dan Hammons: Be VERY VERY VERY careful with this credit union. My sister paid her taxes for the city of Lincoln Park here last summer. She did NOT have the bill with her to get stamped, which is the receipt. They DONT write receipts the stamp is your receipt which is SO dumb. So if you DONT have the bill, you DONT get a stamp, so you have NO proof that you paid your taxes! My sister paid CASH and the man working was able to pull up the public records for the city of Lincoln Park and tell her the total. He did some typing on the computer and assured my sister her taxes were paid! GUESS what- my sisters taxes are delinquent and NOT PAID for the last summer. That money has disappeared and now my sister has to come up with the money AGAIN. The cameras in the building supposedly do NOT record so there is NO way to prove that she walked into the bank. My sister does not remember the exact day that she was there, But it doesnt matter because she cant prove that she walked inside even though my MOM was waiting in the car. My sister has talked to a private investigator to see if he can do anything. Hes trying to find out if there are any cameras that DO record in the parking lot area around the credit union itself to show that my sister was there. (There are businesses around the credit union). My sister had just been awarded money in a settlement at this time last summer and had A LOT of money in the bank. Why would someone who has 35K in their bank not pay their taxes? SO PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT PAY CASH. Always write a CHECK OR pay your taxes ONLINE. Hopefully the private investigator can get to the BOTTOM of WHOs POCKET my sisters TAX MONEY went INTO.
