1 /5 Tiny Smith: If I could give a negative star I would. Last year I provided my tax documents on their app/website as requested. Normally I would go in person but this was not an option. I confirmed with staff that it was received and they would get to it right away. After not hearing anything I called multiple times, never was able to speak with him, only with front desk staff. Who assured me they would have it done by the deadline. And if not they could file an extension on my behalf. The deadline came and went all the while Im calling and being assured it will get done. It was a simple w2, but received excuse after excuse. First Ramadan, then he had surgery and then he got sick. I provided my documents well before Ramadan and it still was not done. This lasted for months. I eventually went elsewhere only to find out they never did file the extension. Would have had to pay higher interest and fees had it not been for my new accountant / tax service that fixed the situation. Do not go here! And if you do, beware!

5 /5 Russell Sitter: I was looking for a tax prepares on short notice. They were able to see me that same week. My taxes were a little complicated because of my business and my wifes citizenship. Hassan at Lakeshore Accounting really knows the tax code and has many years of experience. He got me a small refund when I hade no expectation of getting any refund. Im so glad I found Lakeshore when I needed them! I would absolutely go back next year.

1 /5 Lauren Raymond: DO NOT COME HERE! If I could leave less than one star I would. Both my parents and I went to Hassan and he did not file our taxes on time and filed for an extension without our permission. With 0 communication ever because he refused to respond to our emails or calls, and a number excuses of accidents and surgerys, he then told us that he did not even have his license in the state and sent our tax information to someone else to finish them for him WITHOUT OUT PERMISSION. We have absolutely no clue who did our taxes, and they were done wrong. We had to pay late fees because he did not file on time, and over all a horrible experience and extremely stressful. Both my parents and I now received letters saying that our taxes have been filed (which we have not filed taxes yet) and are victims of identity theft. We have no other finance correlation other than both getting out taxes done her, honestly not a surprise. Hassan was the most shady tax guy I’ve ever been to. I’m just happy to be done with the situation (no thanks to him) and heartbroken to see reviews similar to what I’ve experienced even a year later. PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME !!!

From the moment when I call in the representative was very helpful and when I arrived in person I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable receptionist who made me feel at ease. The Hassan was able to answer all of my questions and provide me with expert advice on how to optimize my tax situation. They are professional and efficient throughout the entire process, and I was able to get my taxes filed on time without any issues. I also appreciated the family-oriented aspect of this firm. Which made me feel like I was part of a community rather than just a client. Its clear they actually care about their clients.
