Before Ida, Danielle was always looking for the best price for homeowners insurance while also looking at a reputable company that could handle hurricane claims if such a need arose. Last year, she emphasized the cost of wood was going up, so I needed to increase coverage. The homeowners rate went up, but she emphasized I needed to accept the increase so that I would be fully covered.
Well, Ida happened on August 29, 2021. Thankfully, I was fully insured. However, it is was what happened after Ida that will make me a Terrebonne Insurance Agency customer for life. I called Danielle, when the phones began working, and explained that a major expense--house lifting and leveling--was not being accepted or paid for. I also explained several other concerns I had about supplements from my insurance company.
Danielle began calling my insurance company and talking to the agent. Later, Tammy took over the claims portion of the company, and she also began emailing and calling the insurance company agent as well--while always including me on the emails and calling me to keep me updated.
I got the supplement I was seeking! I can now finish repairing my home!
I cannot explain how thankful I am for Danielle and Tammys help with this claim. I have never had to file a claim of this size before--my house had to be gutted, lifted and leveled, and then fully repaired. While other people were calling lawyers, I called my insurance agents, and they worked for me, and were obviously very effective.
Clearly, the agents at Terrebonne Insurance Agency truly care about their customers. It is not just something they say; it is a statement that they truly mean!
