St. Landry Parish Transportation - Opelousas (LA)

1 /5 Ms. T: I certainly have an opinion will stick to the facts...... The first time I went up there about a year or so ago at 8am when they opened, I was told I was too late. Turns out the guard was letting ppl in before 8 am. The second time, I called and left a message. I have yet to get a call back. When I did get through I was told I was too late and to call the following week. I called and went up there the following week. I walked in to be told "GO OUT and call". When I pulled out my phone, I was told "you cant call in here". I WALKED OUT and called these people 136 times and did not get an answer on any of the calls. Yes I had a disconnect notice.

1 /5 Denise Simms: Every time I have phoned the receptionist was so rude, I was trying to get help and she kept telling me to call back when I had a disconnect notice. She never informed me they were coming to my town. She needs to be fired, people are reaching out for help and you get this rude person answering the phone.

1 /5 Koby Horton: You can call this place, but they never answer. Any attempt to email them with emails posted on the LIHEAP page are unavailable or the address could not be found. There are people that are literally without power, or people who are disabled that really need the help, and these people dont care. Their office is closed and no one is there when needed also. Whoever runs this place needs to be fired.

2 /5 Jason T: Im giving it a 2 stars because the job center is worthless as it gets! They dont help you. They get paid to push papers I guess because the secretary couldnt tell me exactly how they help. Just said over and over, "go to the workforce website " I gave up. The other people are very nice and helpful. Theyre not hippa privacy, they leave peoples personal information lying around but quick and nice

5 /5 Val: Community action came to my town and I was able to sign up and get help over the summer. I was always unsuccessful whenever I tried to call on my own. They were super nice and helpful . Thank u for programs like this. I am very greatful! God bless! Happy Holidays. Valerie.
