1 /5 Casey Lott: I have been to the this Bingo Hall a handful of times to play the electronic slot machines and everything about my visits there were absolutely great and the employees and customers I encountered while I was there were very friendly and made me feel welcome BUT there was one woman who actually was an employee and that was there a few times when I went there that almost seemed to try to make me unwelcome and almost seemed to be as rude and ugly as possible so that I would never come back. She was the complete opposite of everyone else that I met while I was there. She at least acted as if she was the manager over the other employees and she just was extremely Smart elec and did not seem to fit in with anyone else who worked there. That ladies name was DARLENE. She is definitely not a good or even a somewhat decent representative of that Bingo Hall. I’m sure she glad that she’ll never see my face again and that is okay. Congratulations Darlene! You succeeded.

5 /5 Reasea Coley: I went about a month ago with my daughter and son in law. We had a wonderful time. The people were very friendly and helpful. I’ve since then, been to another bingo hall twice and they weren’t friendly at all. Not helpful at all. I will be returning again to sportsman bingo hall just because the atmosphere is so much better.

4 /5 Thomas Gabriella “Gabby”: Everyone was super nice and very helpful! They made bingo a great experience for my friends and me. Heads up though, it does smell like cigarettes and it sticks to you after you leave.

5 /5 Venus Ritchie: Nice, quiet, down to earth atmosphere. Good music playing at the right volume level. Video Bingo on one side and real bingo on the other. Video side open 10 am until 1 am daily(except some holidays). The actual bingo side has games at noon, 6 pm, and 9:30 pm. Must be 21 to enter. No alcohol allowed on premises. Smoking allowed in the Video Bingo section only. Vending machines and restrooms for customers.

1 /5 Billy Bob: On 12/18/2021, at approximately 9:50 A.M., I arrived at Sportman’s Paradise ready to play some electronic bingo on the gaming devices. I waited outside the door until 10:02 A.M. (2 minutes past supposed opening time) and was let in with approximately three other people. I made my way inside but was called back to a table and was told I had to check in. Weird but ok. I thought this was for a prize entry or something. My temperature was then taken with a contactless thermometer, however it was taken while pointed at my hand. I’m pretty sure it has to be taken while pointed at the individuals head for an accurate reading. I was then told I needed a mask to play on the machines. Three problems here. Firstly, masks are no longer required in Louisiana or Livingston Parish. I understand this is a private business and they can enforce their own mandate, however they should understand this is costing them money (as it did in my case). Secondly, the individual telling me I have to wear a mask is not wearing one herself…yes you read that correctly. She didn’t even have one around her chin. Nothing. The manager who was behind her tending to another duty also did not have one on. I was told she would have her mask on shortly. Lastly, every mask costs $1.00. Pump the breaks. You’re telling me you want me to put a mask on when they’re no longer required, while the person telling me to wear one doesn’t have one on herself, and you’re expecting me to gamble on your gaming devices and pay for the mask too….not happening captain. I told the lady at the desk and the manager that I would wear one, but I’m not paying for it and gambling on the machines. One would have to be provided free of charge. I was refused. I then told them I would be heading across the river in West Baton Rouge Parish to play video poker. No masks required. I would love to hear the owner’s response to this.
