He wanted to shop for rings within a specific budget for his girlfriend. In most occasions when I travel with him, his questions get answered towards me, and I receive almost all eye contact. This leaves him feeling neglected and left out of the majority of social interactions, including several medical appointments. All of the sales staff were extremely friendly, and took the time to consider what the individual who would be wearing the jewelry does throughout their day before selecting options to consider.
