1 /5 Staci S: This is an updated review as of 2/18/22. This company does not answer the phone and it is still impossible to speak to someone locally. Additionally, the insurance company that they issue policies through, Lighthouse Properties, does not give timely communications either. Last year they gave only a months notice that they were dropping our policy due to the age of our roof, after a very busy hurricane season. While we were able to find a roofing company to help us avoid that fiasco and keep our policy then. However, this year they did a price hike of 30-something percent, did not inform us and sent the bill directly to our mortgage company for payment. We canceled the policy as soon as we found out, which was more than a month before the new policy was set to begin, and we received a letter stating they were not returning the 3k that does not belong to them AND they want us to pay an $18 fee for an unknown reason.
Disgusting business practicing and I am highly suggesting that NO ONE attempt to do business with either company, as well as the new ownership Hardwick Insurance (another change we were never informed about until my original complaint).
