4 /5 Jeanine Naker: Valet, Front desk and casino were all great. Room was very nice. Coffee pot missing holder in pot for the coffee pod. Had to make coffee in cup same as tea. Small refrigerator would be nice for leftovers or for people who need for medicine. Would of been nice to have in room.

5 /5 Claudia Collier: We had an amazing time at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles! From the moment we walked in, the energy was great—lively but not overwhelming. The casino floor is spacious, clean, and full of game options, whether you like slots, poker, or table games. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service overall was top-notch. We also enjoyed the variety of restaurants and bars on-site—there’s something for every taste, and everything we tried was delicious. The pool area is beautiful and perfect for relaxing during the day, and the live music at night adds the perfect touch. It’s a great spot for a quick getaway, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for fun, food, and a little luck!

5 /5 Susan Scapperotti: Charming and beautiful casino! The rooms are very nice, spacious and very clean. The hospitality and casino staff are top notch! The gaming floor has a large variety of modern slots. Little gem just 2 hours outside of Houston.

1 /5 Martha McGrew: Definitely not worth $600 a night. Check-in is 4pm. We didn’t arrive until 5pm and was first told there were no clean rooms. After explaining we had diner reservations at Vic & Anthony’s (which was phenomenal) and that we needed to shower and change, they found a room. Most of the plug-ins in the room did not work. There was only 2 that actually worked. There was 3 of us so we couldn’t all charge our phones at the same time. There was neither a microwave nor refrigerator in the room. No fitted sheets on the bed. Only a flat sheet laid over the mattress. Dirty linen and towels in bags were piled in the hallway all night and the next day. I would expect a lot better for $600 a night. Will not stay here again.
