3 /5 White Devil: I was a customer of Farm Bureau for years until Spring of 2023. Even though Id filed no claims on my home or any of my vehicles (two cars and a Harley), Farm Bureau decided to raise my auto insurance significantly and literally double my homeowners insurance. I immediately sought out coverage from another local insurance company and found the same coverage for a much lower rate. Whats sad is that even though Id been a customer of Farm Bureau for over ten years, not a single person from the agency bothered to contact me or my wife and ask if there was any way they could keep our business. On top of that, we still receive bills for the ridiculous "membership dues" even though we canceled them around 8 months ago. I dont regret leaving Farm Bureau.

1 /5 Charlene Larson: If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would. I have never had such horrible customer service EVER! The agent sent me my ID card with my name on it but yet I was not on the policy (just my boyfriend was) and yet I had the automatic drafting coming from MY BANK ACCOUNT. Then they up and canceled my policy without notifying me until the following week and only because I ASKED about issues I had already previously had regarding my payments being irregular amounts and withdrawn on incorrect days. The excuse I was given for my policy cancellation was that my address was unverifiable, YET I had been receiving mail from them for months!
I had had enough with this office not giving me a clear straight answer so I called the headquarters in Baton Rouge and left a message with the person I needed to file a complaint with. Hours later she finally calls and takes my complaint, said she would call me back. She never did, instead the agent Tim called me and harassed me for talking negative about his "character". He then fumbled his way through trying to lay the blame on me and how I should not talk bad about him when he has "gone out of his way" to fix the situation....THAT HE PUT ME IN!
I have to now get insurance through a not so reputable company because they are one of the only ones who wont charge me HUNDREDS of dollars since I have been without insurance for over a week due to Farm Bureau and their lies.
I have filed a formal complaint with the Department of Insurance (so has my boyfriend) as well as a complaint with the BBB. All I want is my money back that I have paid!

Felisha Mack Theres always a friendly voice to answer when you call. We make frequent changes to our policy. It seems to be a new car at least once a year. Our agent always responds and gets the best rate for us. We also have home coverage with this office as well.
