1 /5 Jared Trautman: After 18 years of having an account and cashing numerous payroll checks in that time for larger amounts than I tried to cash today, I was told on the day before Thanksgiving at 4 pm that I couldnt cash a payroll check unless I personally had the funds to cover the paycheck from the company I worked for. Literally, for the first time ever in 18 years of banking. Dont trust Teche Bank & Trust Company. They cannot be trusted to treat you fairly. Now Im broke until next week, get to incur late fees on my credit card, phone(and possibly get it cut off) and unable to put gas in my car or even buy food. Happy Thanksgiving indeed.
Sleep well knowing you ruined my holiday. All because they wouldnt cash a measly $182.62 payroll check from a business and left me unable to go to another. Thanks be to Teche Bank & Trust Company for their lovely treatment of customers who have literally been with them for longer than half their life(true story, been banking with them since I was 17).
Not anymore. Today I am no longer a member and recommend no one else try to trust them, else youre left without money at the wrong time.
