1 /5 Xa Toldem!: Easy Zero Stars!!! Hello world, I’m professional truck driver of almost 10yrs. I spoke about my case with a Mr. John Daniel and I was very shocked and displeased with his response. Now my case is very simple and easy, I know I can do it myself but I don’t live in McLean County never have, I’ve lived in St. Clair County my whole life. But basically what I needed for Wright Law Office in Bloomington, IL to do is file a petition on my behalf to get my MVR cleaned. I have just one traffic violation on my Motor Vehicle Report from 4yrs. ago. that’s really causing me a hard time regaining employment in my field of Transportation. I told John me not being able to regain employment has caused me so much trouble financially to the point where I could lose my home and not have anywhere to live or stay no more. So again, I proceeded to tell him “All I need from them was to file the petition, and because I’m unemployed, fill out the waiver fee for the petition so it would be free, and get a court date in front of a judge and ask the judge to please remove the speeding ticket from my record” This man RESPONSE was to file a petition doesn’t cost that much, it only cost about $40. But if you want our Law firm to do what you’re asking it’ll be about $1000. I said a Thousand Dollars??? Yeah that man Shiesty asl and petty af too because I just told him I wasn’t even employed. So PLEASE PLZ STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

1 /5 k Reynolds: If I could give 0 stars I would. Reading these other reviews is almost word for word MY experience. His office - wife- responds with bs blaming the client but when this consistently is a problem with clients who never met to compare stories - its definitely Johns lack of work ethic. He does not communicate. Lets start there. If you expect a return call or reply to an email- pray and maybe you will get a response. Otherwise you have to keep asking which you are charged for since he is - you know- working reading your emails. Noone should be charged trying to get any information from the guy you contracted with to do a job. Probably why he dont respond- he gets paid more for everytime you call or email, right? Dont expect him to know anything about your case. He dont know names that are the center of the case. When he does show for court, he has no idea what court is for! I had to tell him multiple times on different occasions why we were at court because the jibberish he was saying was wrong! He leaves the vital evidence back at the office and comes empty handed! He charges you for 8 hrs supposedly spent studying your case but then comes to court thinking you are already found guilty of something you have not even been tried for yet so then tries to convince you to "just give up I want this over with" since he thinks you are already found guilty! He has no clue. He didnt study my case ever let alone 8 hours!! Multiple times at court he would say, I just want this over with as if you are an annoyance. Go look at his FB page. Almost all his positive reviews are people he knows in his personal life, people hes gone to school with, or fake names easy to figure out which are on his friends list. Coincidence that all these people just happened to know him personally, or fake reviews. You decide. He is on FB every day, during work hours, posting political garbage or memes. Pretty sure hes supposed to be using his time calling his CLIENTS and working. My case is a contentious custody case. My child has cancer. One with no cure. Imagine going through this terrifying time and also having to try to get your lawyer to do his damn job! Too much stress. I hired him after he told me, no problem, I can litigate this for you. Shouldnt be a hard case" I got more done pro se. Its been almost a year, hes not litigated a single thing. Dont just count on him coming to court. His 1st hearing where he would have to litigate - conveniently he double booked so he MAY not be able to make it?Then when you all but demand he come because the hearing is critical he says he will probably make it. Nope. He didnt call and didnt show. My judge would not allow me to postpone the hearing as I told him I needed counsel - which he is supposed to do- and I lost and my already suffering child paid for it. But again Im billed for his prep. I was talking to someone who used John before,guess what - he no showed for court! What a joke This man is no ethical lawyer. Before a hearing he was showing opposing counsel MY PRIVATE EMAIL to him! When I realized what he was doing I demanded he stop...hello, attorney-client privilege! Opposing counsel seemed to also be wondering why he was giving him my email about the case not meant for his eyes and he quickly returned it. John is clueless The past year has been an all our nightmare trying to keep my child alive. He does not do his job but sure gets that bill out on time. I was happy to be rid of him, but I told him I was not paying for 8 hours of him NOT STUDYING my case - it would take 5 min to at least know WHY were at court! He didnt know. He was likely on FB. I told him I am not paying for motions I WROTE, his secretary just copied &pasted to motions. I was not paying for him forgetting to include vital info in motions so we had to refile, why is that my fault? I have an over $3,000 bill when he did literally maybe $300 of work if that, during a time he should have FOUGHT on her behalf!! STAY AWAY YOUR BETTER PRO SE

5 /5 Kevin Byrne: John and his staff was very easy to work with. They all answered questions I had at any time and he gave me the best advice for my situation. I have been trying to get my license reinstated for a very long time and John helped make the process very easy. He deposed me quite a few times to help prepare for the questions that were asked in the interview, as well as, talked me through the process any time I requested help. I am also having him represent me in another case currently and I believe he is putting forth as much effort as needed to help me secure the outcome Im looking for. I have used John in the past, and will continue to use his services in the future for any legal needs.
