Jeffrey Cook Totally recommend! Heather Johnson is a fantastic attorney, while avoiding all of the skeezy lawyer stereotypes. An intelligent, great human and is completely the type of person I want on my side.
1 /5 Jeff: DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. I used Steve as a divorce attorney. He was consistently unprofessional (language, demeanor, comments about my sons mother, made fun of me for preparing questions via email, etc.), he didnt know how how to use basic technology, including how to forward an email (I literally had to go to his office to do this for him), and would only have private conversations with my exs attorney. After each of these conversations, I would be in a worse place than when we began, meanwhile it was never explained to me how/why. Then he would send very high bills for things like reviewing my emails, which he clearly had not done prior to calling me - he would read my questions from the email for the first time after hed call me, but then bill the call and reviewing the email separately. Additionally, his bills were higher than the much more competent attorney I used after firing him. He allowed my divorce to drag on for over a year with literally no progress except collecting payments from me. Hiring this guy ended up costing me way more than it was worth in terms of financial and mental health between his bills, poor negotiation, lack of professionalism and lack of a sense of urgency while home values skyrocketed in my exs favor and my pension and retirement built up in my exs favor. I hope this review saves 1 person the trouble I went through as a result of hiring this guy who I would think shouldve retired a decade or 2 ago.
