1 /5 Darlene Hedrick: I had the worst experience today with World Finance, I arrived shortly after nine and the close sign was displayed, I took a chance and opened the door as there were three women in there. I originally asked for who I thought said her name was Cindy on the phone yesterday. The lady in the back of the office said there’s no Cindy here but anyone can help you, so I said my name hoping whoever I spoke with yesterday would acknowledge the call, once again the lady in the back of the office asked another woman to help me. I presented her with all the documents I was asked to bring with the exception of a bill because I do paperless billing. I brought my bill up online and sent it to the email address the woman sent to me, the bill had my address but not my name on it, although I had to log into the Ameren website. The woman stated she needed my bank transaction history, which I printed from my bank website. The woman from the back of the office came up and began to raise her voice at me stating she told me on the phone that the statement needed to be stamped from the bank and signed by the person at the bank that gave me the statement, this was never said to me. I work as a paralegal we write down everything, but it was the tone of disrespect that she gave me, so I began to take all of my documents the woman who had been working with me didn’t want to give me my documents back, but I retrieved them anyway and told the woman from the back of the office that she needed to work on her customer service skills ads I don’t want to borrow money from someone being so disrespectful and walked out drove a block east to Marina Finance and was able to borrow twice the amount World Finance was offering me with the documents that I had presented to World Finance. If you need to borrow money I would not recommend World Finance to anyone the woman from the back of the office I’m assuming must be the supervisor but she has become to comfortable with herself, my daughter stated I should have given her some choice words but I’m too mature to match ignorance with ignorance and the unprofessionalism that she demonstrated is just apart of her demeanor. But I would never allow someone I’m doing business with to feel okay with raising her voice at me and believe we can work together. No!!! I’m never that desperate to be verbally abused by anyone. Do business with professional people not those who believe because they are in a position to loan you money that you don’t deserve respect. And I only gave one star because you can’t leave a review without giving at least one star.
