1 /5 Tyler Heustis: Hired mark to help me end child support for a child I discovered to not be mine. In the end he was able to do so but it was a long string of unpleasant experiences. First he told me upfront $1500 would cover everything. I paid and then tried to stay updated on what was happening which turns out is very difficult to do with him because hes never in his office and rarely returns phone calls. First court date we attended, after he spent almost 2 months preparing, they sent us away because he had not filed properly for the action we were trying to take. Second court date we attended he was over 30 minutes late. And finally the third court date was a success for the most part up until it was over and he told me he would be sending me a bill for what was owed. Surprised at this because of the previous statement that "$1500 would cover everything" its safe to say I was very unhappy about this sneaky greed. After some words he made it seem as though he was retracting his statement about charging extra. 7 months later I got a bill for $500 in the mail. So my final thoughts on him? He is a mediocre lawyer who may or may not represent you successfully but he will surely weasel you out of a little extra money before its all over. Will not be returning for any further legal needs.
