5 /5 Ash: Highly recommend Bob Thompson Law for reinstatement cases. I luckily found this firm on Google. Being in Stephenson county, this law firm seemed to be unknown to those I reached out to when searching for a reinstatement lawyer. Most people directed me towards Rockford. Bob was a second opinion for me. When I first contacted Bob, he told me that I was soon eligible for reinstatement and scheduled a court date right away. I was skeptical. My previous attorney told me that I had to wait a year before I could even consider applying for reinstatement. Turns out Bob was right and Ms. Jacobson was wrong. Bob has full understanding of the areas of law that he represents. With his help, I got my license back a year earlier than I thought possible. This is huge for any working-class person living in a rural area where public transportation is non-existent.
Furthermore, Bob is realistic about court outcomes and tells you what you can expect from the getgo, even if it means likely needing multiple hearings. Bob is dedicated to his clients. He makes sure that his clients are well-prepared for court beforehand. He thoroughly goes over what one can expect once at court. Additionally, he is not only responsive, but is so in a timely manner (this is hard to find)!!! He truly just wants to help people out. I overheard him tell a colleague in Chicago that he enjoys his job because he is actually making a difference in peoples’ lives by helping them move forward. Only regret is that I didn’t find Thompson Law sooner.
