Kept being lied to by their staff and attorney on trial dates, discovery, the attorney on my case continued to manipulate myself and my family. Please do your due diligence there are many more qualified and eager attorneys out there. Had a conference with the late Randy Gori was told in September 2017 that I’ll have a trial date I didn’t get that until my attorney was out of the door in September of 2022.

Because your communications contain threatened litigation and a Complaint against an attorney previously associated with The Gori Law Firm, we ask that you do not contact employees of the Gori Law Firm any further. Your case resolved in 2022 and has been closed with our firm since that time.” This was after I found out what transpired at the firm was unethical and simply asked for a conversation and mediation as I was swindled, coerced and manipulated by a lawyer who worked on my case from 2015-2021, this leads me to believe that they’re aware of the unethical wrongdoing and are attempting to distance themselves by also gaslighting. Stay away from them as someone who was a victim they won’t ensure your rights are protected nor will you be a priority to them. I’ve lost my hair, during my duration of my case been in two accidents and a lot of mental anguish that transpired at the hands of their incompetence and lack of empathy! Dear Sara, I acknowledge receipt of your recent correspondence in which you indicated that my case has been closed since 2022 and requested that I refrain from contacting employees of your firm. While I respect your position, I believe your response overlooks key aspects of my concerns and the harm I have endured. I must reiterate that my communication was not an attempt to threaten or harass but rather a sincere effort to seek a fair and ethical resolution to legitimate grievances. My concerns regarding Attorney D. Todd Mathews’ misrepresentation and the subsequent impact on my well-being and financial stability remain unresolved. The fact that my case has been closed does not negate the professional and ethical concerns I have raised. I have substantial evidence, including text messages, audio recordings, and supporting testimonies, which demonstrate misleading conduct during my representation. Additionally, your firm’s misleading advertising practices contributed to my reliance on inaccurate information, further compounding the harm I experienced. I remain committed to resolving this matter amicably. To that end, I once again request a fair settlement that reflects the financial, emotional, and physical toll this situation has taken. I am willing to engage in mediation with a neutral third-party mediator to facilitate a constructive dialogue. I request a response to this proposal within 30 days. If I do not receive a response, I will have no choice but to explore other avenues, including filing a formal complaint with the relevant state bar association and pursuing additional legal options. I sincerely hope we can resolve this matter without further escalation. I am prepared to provide any additional documentation necessary to support my claims and encourage your firm to reconsider its stance. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. 5 /5 sandie hillman: I of course was devestated to learn I had mesothelioma….i saw their commercials on the television and had zero idea what it was all about. I just pitied whomever needed to use them for this reason…. Little did I know lurking in my body was this same disease … of course no idea that I had ever been exposed to something so deadly. So when this came up I and family researched pretty hard all of the “ meso” attorneys out there. No they are not all created equal. Some states allow more liberal uses of the definition of exposure to asbestos. Some states you have to prove a constant and steady exposure to asbestos… it’s difficult when you don’t have a clue where it came from to begin with… but with the right questions you can start to wake up some memories that you had so many years ago…. With me I was going back like 56 years ago so they are very diligent in their taking info down and even asking more of the right questions. Greg was incredibly patient as we dug through my daughter’s father’s info….. my family’s info … they did as they said they would and got things done pretty quickly. I got my first check less than 90 days from the day I retained them and very seriously the cash release check started almost a year from when we got the first check… and then they started rolling in. They said they would really work on this case as they do with all their cases knowing time is not necessarily our friend. They truly have…. I know we didn’t expect for me to actually live long enough to be able to take advantage of these $$ coming in…But it has been three years ago now since I was diagnosed . Yes the checks are slower but even now they are still coming in. They didn’t just go after “ the low hanging fruit” … they went successfully after the harder ones also. I recommend them highly. I am a person of such little patience and they have all been very kind to me. Greg has done a wonderful job of keeping my feet planted and not losing it in the midst of all this craziness of meso. I hate that we have the need for such incredibly knowledgeable law firms where this cancer is concerned but thank goodness we do! I am very glad I chose GORI LAW FIRM. I forgot to mention after we decided on a firm they had one of their partners on Monday at my home in a small EAST TEXAS town. . We decided Sat afternoon late.
