1 /5 Dain McDowell: This man took my money and for a year and a half did nothing for my case besides waste my time. Would go weeks and sometimes months without responding to my emails/text messages. 2 days before my final hearing of my case he decided to withdraw and then blocked me from calling him. Refuses to give me any documents from my case of refund me my money. Now I’m forced to find another lawyer and pay yet another retainer fee and basically start my case all over. I don’t even know how this man has a license to practice law.

1 /5 Melissa Chapman: Ive been blocked, he never finished the case, nor did he do much to make the settlement agreeable. I did all the ground work. Never returned calls or emails. Gives lawyers a bad name.

1 /5 Chantelle Squier: Hired in 2017 for a custody case. Large sum of money was paid, contact was great for the first year, and then it was like pulling teeth to get a simple response. Numerous emails, messages and phone calls from myself (the client) and my father that were never returned. Or returned with a short reply that didn’t really give any update or details after a couple months. He said he needed more money for the hours he had already put in and would be putting in, was paid another large sum of money (our mistake for trusting him) and he promised it would only be a couple more months, six at the max. Six months turned into a year and that turned into years, it’s been radio silence since. Calls, emails, texts and even stopping into the office resulted in nothing. If you want to waste your money this is the attorney for you. This is the attorney you should recommend to someone you want to beat in court because he won’t do anything for them besides take their money. This man’s ethics and morals left his soul a long time ago. Do not waste your time even considering hiring this office. He will charge you a lot of money and then ignore you. Definition of a scam.

1 /5 Ryan Clayton: Patrick Schaufelberger is not someone you want to hire if you value your time and money. I had the misfortune of having to work with him whilst trying to close on a property. He represented the seller in the transaction and i, the buyer. He tremendously slowed down the closing process taking nearly a month to draft a standard contract. He lost information multiple times. Never having saved any of the work he was being paid to do i even had to email him his own contracts back to him. When in talks with my loaning bank he was very unprofessional. He did not disclose who he was, his information, or give any indication he was representing the seller. My bank didnt even want to work with him. His communication was poor. Long wait times to get very basic work done and again losing information and then not telling anyone thereby prolonging the closing process. I really dont know how this law firm exists with so much disorganization and you get the feeling that Patrick was last in his class. You could actually research and find the documents you need, edit, and print them off the internet faster than waiting for Schaufelberger to produce them. You will be pulling your hair out wondering why simple menial tasks take him so long to complete. In conclusion hire this firm if you like to burn money. You can find better representation literally anywhere else.
