They use the same empirical data based approach to investing that the large firms use, while offering more individualized care based on goals and risk tolerance and social justice concerns. No get-rich-quick schemes or stock picking or bogus advice about hedge funds. Just good, solid practices and as much underlying information as you want. Ive learned a whole lot with Rooted Wealth but the biggest benefit is I just dont worry about my future in the way I used to. Unlike the big firms where client advisers change frequently, Ive had the same person who knows more about the everyday questions of RMDs and the like. I have a complicated situation and Rooted Wealth is the first firm who can always answer my questions. I also appreciate that they offer access to estate attorneys, can make recommendations about accountants, and have client events. The first social event I attended was just last week, with live music (Dueling Pianos), great food, an open bar, in a lovely country setting. I had a fabulous time.
