1 /5 Josh: I can back up everything the last reviewer said about Todd. His goal was never to find the quick, obvious resolution. His goal is to drag out the proceedings for financial gain. The fact that children are involved and are being harmed has no impact on him. The fact that hell say hes going to do one thing leading up to a hearing, then completely reverse course in front of the judge, should be enough to consider him impossible to work with. Unlike the last review, I did not threaten Todd with this negative review before posting. I just posted this based on his typical performance, and I will bet my good health that hell never know or care about these reviews

5 /5 E Mack: I could not be more pleased with Todd. Very professional. He suggested options in my marriage breakup. He counseled me but let me choose the approach which was best for me. He and his office return calls and followup promptly. His costs are reasonable and he is fair with billing. I got his name from other attys as a top litigator in the Bloomington area. He did not disappoint and is excellent in Court, has rapport with the Judges and is extremely knowledgeable with Family Law. He also showed empathy and concern for me during a tumultuous time. I give him an A+ and highly recommend!!!

1 /5 Laura Lyons: When I first contacted Ogar and Miller it was with the intent of hiring Helen Ogar. I had done my research and found several people that praised Helen Ogar as a “bulldog” saying she did a great job of fighting for her clients. However, Helen was not accepting new clients, so I was referred by her paralegal to her partner Todd instead. I mistakenly assumed Todd would be just like his partner. Instead, Todd seems bored by what he does, he lacks passion, has little to no fight in him, and if lawyers had such a thing as “bedside manner” Todd’s bedside manner would be nonexistent. He has little patience or tolerance for the emotional side of a divorce and does nothing to make things easier on his clients. His paralegal Nichole is really no better in that regard. I also found myself having to follow up multiple times to make sure things were getting done in a timely manner. Mistakes were made by them that could have and frankly should have been avoided. Ultimately after 6 months, and right before we were supposed to go to trial I finally became so frustrated by the service (or lack thereof) that I was being given I decided to voice my frustrations in an email. I felt I wasn’t being heard, they weren’t doing their due diligence, and I was fed up. I made it clear I would be writing a review of my experience with their law firm and it would be honest. I did not use derogatory language, I simply voiced my concerns to them. They did not take my negative feedback well and Todd decided to withdraw as my lawyer. That’s right, in the 11th hour they quit my case because their feelings were hurt. In 6 months I spent over $20,000 in legal fees to this firm, only to get nowhere with my case. I will not be recommending this firm to anyone.

5 /5 D L: I have had Todd Miller be my divorce attorney for the last eight years or so. Todd has always been responsive to my requests and has helped me navigate some highly unusual legal situations. He does a great job at helping you understand the risk/reward when pursuing your legal options and is very matter of fact about where you could be wasting your money. Simply put, Todd tries to get maximum benefit for his clients without spending unnecessarily. Contrary to the bad rap that many attorneys get as "dragging it out to make more money", Todd is mindful of the expense and seeks to keep costs in check so you arent wasting your money. I would highly recommend Todd to anyone needing a family law attorney.

Hes in it for the kids and has their best interest in mind. It was a tough case, he managed to see the truth of the matter. I highly recommend using him. Thank you for your help, and time.
