Burnside, Johnston, Connor & Jensen, P.C. - Greenville

Rebecca Phillips My husband and I retained Mr. Ryan Connor of Burnside, Johnston, Connor & Jensen to represent my husband in a criminal defense matter. The litigation process can be draining at times but Mr. Connor was always willing to answer questions and provide a legitimate explanation for his answers. We did not expect this case to go to trial, but my husband was not willing to plead it down to a lesser charge because he was innocent of the charges brought against him. This involved a dispute with a bitter family member and Mr. Connor understood the sensitive nature and emotions involved. Mr. Connor believed in his client and assured us he was prepared to fight it all the way. As the trial date approached, Mr. Connor kept us informed of any new developments or concerns. On the day of trial, we felt comfortable that we were as prepared as we could be under the circumstances. During trial, Mr. Connor excelled beyond any expectations we had of him. He was confident, direct, organized, well spoken, and knew the case inside and out. As a result of Mr. Connors hard work, my husband won his case which we thought would be nearly impossible. Mr. Connor was able to reveal the truth in a tactful manner bringing much needed relief and comfort, not only to us, but also to the family members who were called as witnesses and many other family members who had been effected by this case.

Wilson, Dabler & Associates, L.L.C. - Belleville

Steven Clark Susan Wilson represented me in a divorce and child custody case several years ago. She has subsequently represented me in several post-divorce issues as well as provided legal advise on various matters when I needed it. Then and now, she has always been a great attorney and provided sound counsel. I cannot think of anyone better in the area for family law. I have referred several people to her and will continue to do so each time someone asks.

Charles Rose Law Office - Sycamore

Dave Brannstrom Did his job as intended, but very lacking in the communication department. Asked several times to not mail paperwork as I wanted to pick it up, but it was mailed every time. For the last court date, I was never informed that it was occurring and merely (through the mail again) was given the documents. No explanation, just paperwork. Additionally, was vague with what information was needed which meant several “drafts” were needed, costing several extra hundred to a thousand dollars. Very friendly guy, but the small things added up to additional costs and mental strain during one of the most difficult situations of my life.
