1 /5 Keith R.: Our experience from the beginning was a little rocky with Kyle (slow to respond, required multiple follow up calls to move things along, etc.), but we gave him the benefit of the doubt as he was able to eventually find us the policy coverage we needed.
About 10 months later we received notice that our policy was being canceled for non-payment. When we investigated what had happened, our rates had been increased on our home post-inspection and we were never notified, let alone notified that we had an outstanding balance. The insurer had also doubled our rates for the subsequent year and again, we werent notified. When we logged into the online account with the insurer, it was clear all our statements and notices were set up by this agency to go directly to the agency and not to us.
I called and asked Kyle for an explanation, and his response was yet again delayed and unapologetic. He said he would get get back to us with alternate carriers. Meanwhile we are out over $500. Three days later (with our policy cancelation near), we had heard nothing and were forced to find a policy on our own. Whats the point of having an agent if they dont communicate major changes (or in this case at all) with their customers? Best to just find the policies yourself.
