5 /5 Brittney Ann: I used Mr. Gitlin for my high conflict divorce. He was amazing to have by my side to help guide me and walk me through this difficult and long journey. Mr. Gitlin is very well known and respected. He is very knowledgeable and I learned a lot! He was good at explaining in detail so that I understood and didnt have any unrealistic expectations. Mr. Gitlin didnt sugar coat anything and I appreciated that the most. I knew he would take care of the cas, so I felt I was in good hands. I also learned how to communicate with a high conflict people and my ex and I will be able to use for the rest of my life. It helped me grow as a person and become more confident. Amy in the office was also amazing to work with. She helped me with so much and also explaining situations in nonlaw format as it can be very confusing at times and overwhelming. I couldnt thank this office enough! I will and have referred Mr. Gitlins firm to anyone who needs a well knowledgeable attorney. You would not be disappointed.

She provided great advice based on her experience in the field and provided a number of case examples to support her recommendations along the way. This allowed me to make fact based decisions during an extremely emotional and stressful time. She went above and beyond to expedite my case and finalize things in record time for me. Divorce is expensive, but I feel I got my money worth and more with how she and Kim handled this for and with me.

1 /5 Andrew Klouda: Classless law firm with no sense of ethics. Divorce is about a lot more than money, but that is all Gitlin law firm is focused on. Any law firm that tells their clients their divorce will “be over in 2 months” but then proceeds to advise their clients to “hurry things along” and file for divorce and reveal this decision their children 2 days before Christmas should not be trusted. Advising their clients to ghost their children because they disagree with the intent to divorce is absurd and downright evil. If you want some semblance of a relationship with your children post divorce then avoid Gitlin law firm like the plague. If you want to become the villain in your child’s life and sell your soul for the almighty dollar then by all means Gitlin and company are more than happy to help you achieve this. Funny how a supposedly “2 month divorce” is suddenly an “8 month and counting with no end in sight divorce” all the meanwhile their clients get screwed out of money while Gitlin goes home to his massive mansion laughing all the way. This law firm has done nothing but cause harm to my family, left both parties of the divorce poorer and gotten rich off of the process. There are divorce firms out there that are good lawyers and good people. They just don’t work at this law firm.

It was a pleasure to work with an attorney who took the time to understand my situation and offer sound advice. He made sure that I understood my options and that all of my questions were answered so I could make an informed decision. He is not only well-versed in all things related to family law (in fact, he wrote the book!), but equally impressive is his empathy for his clients. He listens with a compassionate ear and shares his expert views to truly work as a partner with his client, and in the end, get them the best possible result.

5 /5 John Owensby: I retained Attorney Stephanie Kasten to handle my divorce. It was a difficult case revolving around a pension plan issue. The companies with the pension plan information were uncooperative and difficult to work with. Stephanie diligently pursued the companies and finally was able to gather the needed information to move my divorce forward. Without that effort the results of my divorce would have been very different. I was also very impressed with Stephanies professionalism and knowledge of Family Law. Her communication, with me, was excellent and she was adamant about taking the time to answer all my questions. I always had the feeling that I was "in good hands". I was also very impressed with Kim Feetterer, Office Manager and Paralegal. Her compassion on my initial call to the firm was very comforting and she carried such an overall positive tone for all the subsequent interactions with the firm.
