3 /5 Sam: Ive been with Farmers Insurance since I began driving, so a little over ten years. Ive always had good coverage, theyve always helped me out. Great insurance. Anyway, I was part of a family plan, and I was looking to go off on my own. I called to get a quote, and they couldnt get me one, which I understand, because Im already a policy holder, so the site wouldnt work. I decided to go with a different insurance and called up the office to let them know I was cancelling. Im an overly polite person, I work in customer service. She answered with a short hello, and I let her know I was cancelling my policy. All she says is "Okay."and goes to hang up???? At that point I was like "Oh no, Im still covered until August, correct?" "Is that what you want?" sounding totally annoyed with me???? So I let her know that my new policy wasnt ready until August. Whoever is in charge of the phones at this office is completely rude and unprofessional. I dont feel bad leaving Farmers Insurance now.
