5 /5 Rebecca Leary: I am so thankful for the incredible support and guidance I’ve received from my academic advisor and professors at Eastern Illinois University. My advisor/professor, Jacqueline Janesku, has been outstanding these past couple of years, always patient, supportive, and encouraging. She not only helped me stay on track academically, but also made me feel like I had a true advocate in my corner. I also want to give special recognition to some of my professors who made a lasting impact on my journey: Dr. Gordon Tucker, Dr. Misty Rhoads, Jan A. Murphy Morgan, and Dr. Thapaliya. Each of them brought such passion to their teaching and showed a genuine investment in their students’ success. They challenged me to grow, supported me when I needed it, and inspired me with their knowledge and kindness. All of these individuals have played a huge role in my academic and personal growth. Their encouragement, guidance, and dedication have shaped my college experience in the best way possible, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had them as part of my journey.

5 /5 Vipila Bathvar: I have visited this university because my husband studied there. It was very nice experience for me. EIU has a welcoming campus environment and a vibrant student life with various organizations and activities. While it may not be as large or well-known as some other universities, it has a solid reputation for its education programs, business school, and the sciences. The campus is also noted for its affordability and strong community feel.

3 /5 Erika Garcia: Good school, the dorms could use some updating in more ways than one, the dining halls can have their menus revisited and updated for better more nutritional food. Overall an average school.

5 /5 Richard Nahm: It was a great place to watch my granddaughter move on to the very last state finals in Track & Field.

5 /5 Kim Bauer: It was a wonderful experience being able to have your professor actually teach the class as opposed to a TA. If you ever had any problems or questions they were available to discuss it with you and to help you through your concerns.
