Menges Law Firm - Belleville

Paul Sclafani Carson was as interested in my case as I was... that is the best expectation that I could ever have of a professional who is working for a positive result for all involved... his client, his firm and himself. 100% satisfaction is rarely achieved in my world, and he easily reached that goal. Thanks again, Carson Menges...sincerely, Paul Sclafani

The Stogsdill Law Firm, P.C. - Wheaton

Eric O I am pleased with my attorney at Stogsdill When you net it out he saved me far more $$$ than the fees they charged to handle my case. Unfortunately this was not my first rodeo and Ive had some ringside seats with divorces of friends, in-laws and out-laws. My first atty from many years ago was good. My atty from Stogsdill seemed to be far smarter and a better "tactician" shall we say. I never felt he prolonged the case to get more billable hours. I have some cognitive issues. Brian was very patient with me, made sure that I understood what he was doing and why. He very patiently listened to what I felt I needed in the settlement and he clearly explained what I was entitled to by the law and what I could expect to finish with. I truly felt like I had a partner in the battle and yes, by definition divorce is a battle. In my experience the "amicable divorce" is a myth. In my case, Brian was a great war time consiliere. (go watch The Godfather) Another thing that sometimes gets overlooked is that Stogsdill has a great staff. They treat you respectfully. They are well coordinated and on top of your case. Just really nice folks to do business with. We finished up my case a month or so ago. However as these things often go my ex has not yet satisfied her taste for blood. Like Michael Corleone said in Godfather III; "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in." So be prepared, forge a good relationship with your atty. Youre going to need him/her for the long haul. My atty certainly did his part in forging that partnership. Your mileage may vary.

Elliott, Trainor & Weller, P.C., Attorneys At Law - Freeport

Gordon Fischer I have been practicing law for nearly 25 years, and have learned a thing or two about what it takes to provide the best possible representation for clients: organization, knowledge, judgment and diligence. Bridget Trainor applies these consistently in her work regardless if it is a small matter or big case. Bridget worked for me when I headed a large, complex not-for-profit organization in the mid-2000s, before she went to law school. She was a master problem-solver, with a keen attention to detail. Her job was demanding and deadline-oriented; she navigated multiple responsibilities and some challenging personalities with ease. Shes a strategic thinker and an outstanding communicator. I was pleased when she told me she was going to law school, because I knew her skills and traits would make her a great attorney. Now that she is a colleague, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to consult with Bridget on legal issues. She continues to impress me, especially with the way she stays current on the law and is passionate about helping her clients.
