2 /5 Anne-Marie Eriksen: Bad experience from a candidate perspective. Met with a recruiter, Stephanie, to discuss a potential job opportunity with a client she was recruiting for. When we discussed salary, the range was a bit lower than what I was looking for. I told her that and she thanked me for my transparency. Then I decided I would like to still have the interview because after talking to my family, I may be able to make it work. She declined and said she wanted me to find out first. I explained that in order to interview, I have to hire childcare, and I already had child Care lined up for the purposes of this interview and would like to continue. She declined again because she said its a lot of work to fill out the candidate profile and didnt want to start the process if I wasnt interested. That is up to me to decide if Im interested. I told her I was and she refused to have the interview. Extremely unprofessional.
