She was able to meet with us on short notice, made herself available when we needed. Her responses, prompt and thorough. Her knowledge, vast. Her approach, targeted. We couldnt be happier, even learning what we could have done better, and trust Caroline and team with our legal matters.

1 /5 Kadir Duru: I recently had a very disappointing experience with a lawyer in downtown Chicago. I traveled all the way from DuPage County, which took me about an hour and a half, just to meet with her. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I had to wait over half an hour for her. When she finally arrived, she briefly glanced at my documents, and I could barely understand her because she was speaking so quietly. After about five minutes, she said she would need at least four hours to review everything in detail and quoted a fee of around $2,000 for that. She then charged me $40 for the brief five minutes we spent together, which felt like a complete waste of time and money. Overall, it was an unprofessional experience, and I definitely will not be working with her in the future.

So I decided to contact Caroline J. Smith &Associates. It’s been years and I was very surprised that her prices were still the same (it’s nice to be able to get a lawyer at an affordable rate). 1 /5 Jennyy Jimenez: Horrible experience with Caroline. Look for a better landlord attorney. Started in February and were given false hopes of taking latest 3 month. Has been 5 months and still nothing. Case keeps "restarting" Do not hire this attorney waste of money!!!

1 /5 Chynna Nicole: I don’t recommend this company. They horribly represented my case and I’m highly upset I chose this firm to represent me. Caroline’s communication wasn’t good at all nor is her attitude. The whole process was truly disappointing. They even gave me the wrong zoom information to one of my court dates which hugely affected my case then lied to the judge the next court date saying I showed up the wrong day to cover themselves, but really they gave me the wrong zoom information. I’m just truly upset with the way things went while trusting them. Plenty times I’ve called the office and received no answer. The customer service is just poor overall. I caught secondhand embarrassment for the attorney that showed up to my last court date representing me. He was all over the place and it was just truly disturbing. I wouldn’t recommend them.
