1 /5 A: I had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience working with Megan. She showed incredible bias and, when critical decisions needed to be made regarding the well-being of my child, was completely unavailable. I was forced into signing a parenting plan under duress from the other side, simply to ensure my child’s safety. Despite informing Megan shortly afterward that my ex had already violated the plan, she took no action to help.
Now, after multiple violations of the plan, I find myself having to take legal action pro se to protect my child, all while Megan has been non-responsive. She failed to advocate for me when it mattered most and showed a clear lack of accountability. I also felt pressured to make financial decisions without receiving the proper information, and there was no follow-up on critical issues related to my child’s welfare.
Megan’s bias and negligence have been evident throughout, leaving me with minimal protection and none of what I contributed to the marriage or home. I’m now dealing with the consequences of a third violation, with no help from her.
Given my experience, I strongly recommend finding someone else to represent you. Megan’s actions, or lack thereof, are not in the best interest of her clients, especially when it comes to family matters and child welfare.
I’ve been told a case with ADRC is viable. But I’m busy trying to protect my child and struggling with the incredibly skewed financial balance of the divorce, So as a former client of Megan who has the time for that.
