JEFFERY STOKES I have had nothing but problems since I went to this bank and took out a personal loan. The person who assisted me name is Bayley. My understanding was I pay 6 months interest, then I pay the principal. First they tell me I will be notified when my due date is, and will be notified what my payments are. They wait 1 and half month and bill me a late fee. I was told after 6 months I will be notified what my payments are for the principal. 6 months later, I get a letter saying my interest was incorrect and going from 3.99 to 10 percent. And I dont pay the principal but the 10 percent interest. Dillion calls and say well its in your contract and Bailey is very good and thorough. They say sorry but you can refinance. I swear to God I wish I said no to these people

Lydia Cobb First Mid Bank and Trust is by far the best bank I have ever banked at. I’m not a customer so any banking I do must be done on inside. I had a check that was written from an account at this bank. I don’t live in the area and made it to the bank ten minutes after close. I walked to drive through to see if I could cash check there. They said I must go inside. But for me to wait one moment and possibly something could be worked out. A few minutes latter the manager came back with a smile and said”unfortunately you do have to come inside. “ I ask could she make an exception then and let me in. Of course I figured that would be a very fast no. But instead she looked at clock and to my surprise said “yes, we will make an exception this time. Please come around to front entrance.” To my surprise again and much to my delight all the staff was still very friendly and kind not seeming put out at all. In this day of rudeness being commonplace it is refreshing to be graced by a bank as wonderful as First Mid Bank and Trust. So anyone who has a First Mid Bank and Trust in your area do make the right choice and choose them for all your banking needs. Thank you once again First Mid Bank and Trust!!!!!!!! 5 thumbs up!

Olga Bolen Weve had nothing but good experiences with FPS. For the most part, I do my banking at the downtown facility, and the ladies there have always been super-friendly and very knowledgable. I recently needed copies of statements, deposit slips, etc, for the state, which was time sensitive. It was a task, which was definitely very time consuming. Tammy C. completed the task before the deadline, and we feel she went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend banking there.

fares halabi I don’t have enough words to describe my experience with Chris. I had an accident in my new car, and it was totally damaged. Chris was calling me frequently to make sure everything was going smoothly and perfectly regarding paying off the car, renting a car until I got the new one, and dealing with the hospital bills. I didn’t feel that I was alone, Chris and all of his team stayed with me until the end. I highly recommend working with this great people.
