Dusti Bolton Very skeptical about having a public defender for my indigent loved one from the beginning all the way through the end because without the monetary benefits for the court-appointed defense attorney versus hiring a private attorney, which I highly considered doing and even consulted with a few who were extremely willing to take the case which was being tried, I had a huge doubt that my loved one would be represented fairly. I stayed on course though, for the benefit of my loved one. No explanation required. I don’t think the information has been updated in quite a while, as the public defender who represented my loved one is not mentioned as the point of contact for the area of this website; however, I am giving this review for the services provided by Attorney Ryan Fuller, who was the court-appointed defense attorney in the aforementioned case. I sat in the courtroom, with the exception of a few recesses, for over six hours and had the opportunity to hear Attorney Ryan Fuller defend several cases prior to the case that I was in attendance for. I heard Attorney Fuller defend, what I believed were obvious grounds of guilt for defendants, yet he still upheld his oath of allegiance to those defendants based on his role as their public defender. I saw, firsthand, that the challenges he faced from the start were not in his favor in most cases he was obligated to defend, by his profession. I thought I was mentally exhausted going into this. I honestly don’t believe I could be paid enough to do his job. With stating all of the above, my loved one was pleased with Attorney Ryan Fuller representing the case, and for me personally, the outcome of my loved one being satisfied with his services is honorable. Although, justice has not been fully rendered in more ways than one, Attorney Ryan Fuller gets five stars for his role as representation. I fully understand that he has limitations when it comes to the actions of others who are involved.

I have had nothing but honesty and open communication with her from the beginning. Divorce and custody issues are never easy but Sarah Blakes knowledge of the law is approached with facts and integrity. I recommend her to anyone. She has taken care of me and more importantly my children in a very tough time in our lives.

Edgar Connell Mr. Johnny Spurlin and Felisha were very helpful during my contested divorce. He always met with me before any meetings with the opposing attorney. He always made sure we had what we needed before starting. He listened to everything I had to say, took notes, and remembered everything, even weeks to months after going over the information with him. He encouraged me to take the high road and be patient when the other side did anything I thought was hurtful. Mr. Spurlin and his staff always looked out for my long-term interests. They always tried to not waste my time with anything unnecessary or run up my bill. They were aware of how things add up in a hurry. He fought hard to have my case treated fairly. At the end, I was very satisfied with the outcome of the divorce. Everything was fair and reasonable. I was not happy about the divorce but was happy about the arrangements with finances, children, and other considerations. I would recommend Mr. Spurlin again to anyone who is about to go through a difficult time and needs legal help.

Yvonne Bolen Making the decision to file bankruptcy was extremely difficult and emotional. The first consultation I had was with a large firm who put no effort in reviewing my case and quickly informed me that my monthly payment in a Chapter 13 case would be half my monthly income. I left that office feeling even more trapped and hopeless. Then everything quickly turned around when I contacted Randall Carver with Bournakis & Mitchell. We discussed the details of my case and after he received all my documentation he obviously put great effort toward my case and within a short period of time informed me that my monthly payment in a Chapter 13 would be a fraction of what the first firm had stated!
