1 /5 Otis Brave: I’ve never had a good experience at this bank… I’ve never had so many issues with any other bank. I don’t want to leave bad reviews but I have to be honest. Every-time I go into this bank they never say hello, and are not polite. They are very cold & rude. Most times they take a long time to do anything. Their computers have been down multiple times I go in. And every single time I go to Walmart to use this card it declines at least once you have to jam the card into the reader and it does this with multiple cards. I even ordered a new card because it did this at every place I went to. It didn’t change anything. When I called United Bank I was respectful and had concerns if my card was being charged multiple times for all the declines and the lady on the phone was so unnecessarily rude! She said “all the charges went through” with an attitude when they clearly did not cause the card kept declining and I walked out the store & it never charged my card. The bank app said it didn’t either. She then proceeded to cut me off with my concerns and had a very rude tone.
Also, on the united bank app on your phone it keeps kicking you out where you have to keep updating your password. It’s extremely annoying. They say “if you don’t log in for a month it changes the password” which is not true because I go into my bank app every day and it does this often. If you’re looking for a bank in Thomaston I would not recommend united bank. Pick another bank. It’s been a nightmare with this bank.
