Truist - McDonough (GA)

1 /5 Kim Fitzsimons: Back in January, my daughter(17 at that time) was caught up in a scam that was not her fault. We went to this branch, her bank, three different times to close out the account and settle the issue, but we were told the situation was under investigation and to WAIT for any calls or emails to handle the issue. Its now June, and they have racked up charges for us to pay because of the waiting. Their service sucks!!!

5 /5 Faith Stubbs: I love my bank! This branch has the most considerate and patient people. Im always greeted with a smile, which is a very nice feeling when you walk into a bank. Just the other day, I had someone from this branch reach out and thank me for how long Ive had an account with BB&T and Truist. I truly felt as though they enjoyed having my business. When this branchs associate called, she asked if there was anything I needed help with. As a matter of fact, the strip and chip on my debit card had gone out so her timing for the call was great. She was able to get me a new card, OVER THE PHONE, and I was even able to keep my same card number. Talk about WONDERFUL customer service! I was then able to go by this branch in person and THANK her for how easy she made that happen. Ill tell everyone... I LOVE THIS BANK!

1 /5 Nana McSwain: ZERO STARS!! This bank is the worst ever! I have done business with them (SunTrust) over 25 years!! Never again!! I used the app to send money using Zelle on Aug 2nd, was told I had to wait until the transaction posted to my account. It didnt post until the 6th. Why could they not stop it from posting? The scammer didnt receive the funds for 4 days!! I feel Truist could have stopped this transaction from clearing!! Incompetent!!

1 /5 Kevin. Shane: Worse customer service and no regards for their clients. I paid off my auto loan on the 3rd and still have not received my letter of no interest to get my title. I have called 4 times with each call wait time of nearly one hour only to be told something different each time. Also instead of marking the account paid they marked the remaining 8 payments and balance of the loan delinquent. This has hit my credit scores for over 40 plus points each. When speaking to them they said I could file a dispute in which they ruled they were right and I had no claim. They have made no effort to fix their mistake or any effort to resolve anything at all.

1 /5 Lemetrius Knapp: First off, the website says the McDonough Lake Dow location closes at 6, but they actually close at 5. This is misleading, but I arrived at 4:50. I wanted to withdraw 2900 dollars, only to be told the bank had no money. I was told the reason they have no money, is because their business customers have priority over the money they currently have. I guess the average, hard working father isnt as important as Trusits business clientele. This is a big disappointment and not what I would expect from a prominent banking institution. I would say its a " hard No" on banking here. Customer service is not priority here. Please open your account else where.
