2 /5 Tamara Lewis: Banking with them for 5+ years. Cannot get immediate replacement of bank cards. Huge deposit posted to my account in error. Good thing I am an honest person! Could not get $30 of a $1230 deposit on BB&T account same day.Ordered checks. Kept getting checks I didnt order (like 5 or 6 orders) and with the wrong account # or wrong check number...and I was charged for each one. It took a real effort to get the charges refunded... Also, I made a cash deposit one holiday weekend at the ATM. It malfunctioned only for me and gave NO record of my transaction. It cancelled the transaction, but kept my cash. I had to wait until the bank opened after the holiday to file a claim. Then I had to wait until the issue was investigated to get full access to my money, which was over $1000. The positive was the bank manager did call one of my creditors to explain why my payment was late. What is customer service if a customer cannot get the service they need? I am switching my three accounts to another bank. I have had enough.

1 /5 Charles Allen: So I needed to actually come into a branch to process an ACH that Im unable to do on the mobile app. Stood in line for 15 mins to be told I needed to have a banker process the ACH, a teller cannot. Ive been waiting 30 mins + for something that will take 5 mins. I know its Friday at lunchtime so expected a bit of a line, but this wait seems excessive.

Erica not only helped me with my initial inquiry but also suggested three other changes to my accounts to better help my money work for me. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Im very happy to banking with Truist.

1 /5 Twisted Mommy: Bad business banking! Legal name change and they sent out WRONG DEBIT CARDS! Didn’t change the name on account etc. Spent an hour in there just to have to call corporate to correct their mistakes. Also, if you want a business banker be prepared to wait an hour or longer. And good luck getting anyone to answer the phones.
