1 /5 scot westlake: Card Canceled Out of the Blue. Called Corporate number and got some call-center in Thailand. The young lady literally said, "Um yes, your card not working because it cancelled" to which I responded, "Yes, Im aware - thats why I called you. Why did my current card get canceled a month prior to the cancellation date on my actual card?" and she just repeated the same phrase over and over - as though she had a pull string in her back. As per standard banking practices, why would you cancel the card that is current - prior to the activation of the new card being sent??? Also, the local branch doesnt pick up their phone - much less have an operator to direct you.
