The Southern Credit Union - LaGrange (GA)

5 /5 steven nixon: I enjoy them. Never got a loan thru them but always have had pleasant experiences. Ive been banking with them over 3 years now. Wish they had a couple more ATMs around town but at least the one it has locally is convienantly located.

5 /5 Sarah Dell: This rating shocks me! It should be NO LOWER than a 5.0. I love this place. They have helped me many times and had funds ready for me almost immediately. I would recommend them for anything you need!

5 /5 Christopher Cooper: I have been doing business with them since 2017 and have always had extremely good experiences. Rates are half of what banks charge and have had extremely easy loan processes on at least 8 loans. Everyone has always been extremely helpful and nice. I have never had anything less than a great experience with them. An issue came up with my account twice since Ive been there, but I was able to get help and immediately get it resolved. I highly recommend The Southern Credit Union to anyone and everyone.

1 /5 Shae: I truly dislike this credit union. If you want a credit union that careless about the member, poor customer service, poor communication, hold your money hostage, and overall poor credit union then by all means this is it. I was a member at Atlanta postal credit union which I loved but it was too far from what I live. When I heard about the southern credit union coming to my area I thought great a credit union closer Ill join there. Little did I know it would be banking from hell. You call and talk to setback people that gives you all different information no one is on the same page with how they handle your accounts. Needless to say do not deposit a large check because they hold your funds hostage. They will tell you to get them information showing the check cleared the other bank and they will release your funds but when you do that they will tell you they are not releasing them until the hold expire even though they have received the funds. I will be withdrawing all my money from this institution.

1 /5 Trinton Hlynn: Worst fraud prevention services ever, and there are a lot of banks with crummy fraud prevention. I cant use my card to make ANY online purchases but I didnt hear about someone using my account to fund MULTIPLE Lyft rides all over Cedar Rapids Iowa until my card kept getting declined at the grocery. And of course, if you are making a purchase that keeps getting declined after business hours, there is no one to call. The Southern is a joke.
