There are many issues to consider that we had not thought of and having an expert in elder care as well as estate planning is really vital to understanding what we needed. He fit our estate planning needs to our unique situation while being mindful of the costs and benefits to each option. This is very refreshing since usually the more an attorney does, the more they make. The way he would explain things to us peppered with personal anecdotes from his own experience made us understand clearly why he worded our documents the way he did. He also set up a Zoom call to discuss our estate planning with our adult children so they would be aware of what’s in it and how their responsibilities down the road (way down the road hopefully) if something were to happen to us. Due to my parents limited English proficiency, communication was an issue. However, Paul got creative and used Google Translate in addition to my help to converse with my parents and make sure that all their questions and concerns were addressed before moving forward. We completed the trust with confidence knowing that we received the best guidance from Paul.
