1 /5 alina portuondo: Do not use the banks valuation department (appraisal department) with Ms. Velita Flores and expect a respectful and professional treatment. The entire equity loan process I faced was strange and wrought with hidden internal policies, disclosed AFTER a complete application was submitted and credit pulled. However, nothing to compare with Ms. Floress unprofessional and nonsensical decision after I submitted an appraisal dispute. The banks internal policies insulate this type of behavior from Ms. Floress with little or no information on the departments head, but binding Synavus. Neither her nor the departments mentioned above provided me, the customer, with anything in writing, with a signature or the banks letterhead. While the local branch I went to treated me as a person and a customer, the loan department and Ms. Flores in valuation, have left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Shame on the banks internal quality controls.
