About three weeks ago the property/casualty insurer of our home and autos provided my wife and I written notice that our property/casualty insurance (home coverage only) annual premium would increase to $6,000 per year effective one month from the date of notice---DESPITE OUR NEVER HAVING FILED A CLAIM! As you might expect, we panicked! I viewed the proposed increase as outrageous because I knew that the proposed annual increased amount for continuing our property coverages was well above market rates. So, with less than 30 days to find another carrier, I phoned several insurers. Only State Farm Insurances agent, David Korede, and his A team went to work at saving us from this jacked-up proposed property/casualty premium increase. Specifically, effective May 1, my wife and I will have State Farm as our new property/casualty insurer, offering home and auto premiums that are well within the zone of "Reasonable Rates." I especially wish to thank Hope Crowell who "talked me down" from jumping off the "rooftop" of our happy home while ushering me through the process of getting the desperately needed replacement property/casualty coverages at super reasonable rates---well before the May 1 deadline!
