SJ Melissa is the BEST there is in the jewelry industry!! We had been ghosted by 3+ “jewelers” before expanding our search and finding Metal Sugar, to custom design our engagement ring. Melissa is an amazing communicator and spoke with us non-stop during the design process. She got a CAD rendering made for us very quickly! She is very attentive to detail and will make sure you’re satisfied before beginning the design process. We had a wonderful one on one appointment with Melissa where she showed us a few different sized diamonds and different metal types, asked us about our relationship, and really gave us a personalized and unforgettable appointment. We will recommend any one who needs a custom piece to use her services! You won’t be disappointed!

Brent Troyer These folks did an awesome job resetting a small diamond and resizing a ring for me. Its a daily wear piece that I inherited from my grandfather upon his passing 15 years ago. Because it holds significant emotional value, I didnt want to take it just anywhere. Aside from their convenient location, after meeting the family that owns and runs the business I immediately felt at ease. Within less than a week, they had my ring ready to go and did a beautiful job at a fair price. They were so patient with my son and even played with him. We want something that would complement his bracelet stack that started with his gold Cuban link that had a diamond added for our son’s birth month. Ultimately, my son picked the beaded bracelet that ties the gold bracelet and the David Yurman my son “got him” for Christmas. Best service and quality. P Miriam (The Planning Mimzy) This is a lovely small shop in Lawrenceville Square. The owners were lovely and kind and have put a lot of thought and effort into the shop, even taking into account community needs and wants. Their shop specializes in hand made goods as well as antique and second hand goods. I particularly appreciated the artwork and handcrafted crystal jewelry! I definitely will be back!
