5 /5 Ragan: Was in town with my two long distance besties for the Beyonce concert. Decided since we were together that we’d do the viral awkward photo shoot. Janice the photographer was top tier, we missed our initial appointment and she graciously rescheduled us. We already had our poses in mind and she offered suggestions (like doing the floor photos last so we didn’t get our shirts dirty) and tweaks to make the photos our own. She was genuinely excited for us and even squealed when she really liked a photo which really made us feel good and boosted our confidence. She also proactively asked if anyone was military so we could get the best possible discount on our photo package. All the way around great experience. Thank you again Janice!

5 /5 Toya Wicker: My girlfriends and I had the pleasure of being photographed by Janice on 7/13/25. As soon as she saw us, she knew we were there for the awkward photo shoot! Janice incorporated her ideas with ours, and we had the most amazing and fun shoot with lots of excitement and laughter. Our pictures are FIRE!!

1 /5 Alexia Groover: I had a very unpleasant visit. The workers were awful. I purchased jewelry and upon my exit the alarm went off. I then took the bag back to the workers and they told me that its normal for the alarm system to go ofg with jewelry I then went to the other check out and was told the same thing. So I asked would you at least attempt to deactivate the device. And she replied I will but itll be the same out come. I kid you not when I walked out this time the alarm system did not go off. So for them to not even attempt to deactivate it the first time left a disgusting taste in my mouth about jcpennys. Id never steal a day in my life but to be looked at by other customers as if I would was very disheartening and disturbing. While the workers act as if that was just okay for the alarm to go off I will never come back.
