JCPenney - Hiram (GA)

5 /5 Kathleen Stento: I wanted to update and change my review from 1 star to 5. The issue below was taken care of promptly and professionally and honored by JCPenney in Hiram! Was just at your Hiram, GA location and left without purchasing. I was shopping for casual shoes when I saw a sign for Clarks 40% off and a sign next to it which stated scan the QR code and take an additional 25%off . I scanned the QR code and also had a picture of the signs. At the register, the associate said the coupon didnt work. I showed her the picture of the sign and she tried again. The Manager ( or supervisor) was nearby and the associate asked why the coupon didnt work. The Manager said the 25%off coupon doesnt apply to Clarks. I asked why they have the 25%off sign WITH the Clarks sale sign. She replied "its just for advertising". I told her that was deception to the customer. She walked away without another comment. The cashier told me if I had a JC PENNEY credit card, I could take an additional 30%off. I asked how that would work since after reading the fine print on the 30% coupon also states Clarks are not included? It doesnt make sense and is deceiving the customer!! BEWARE of this stores " advertising".

1 /5 Alex Hawkins: $300 down the drain. I purchased a 10k gold bracelet rope chain with gold bar accents and within a couple hours of wearing it the bracelet started to fray and brake. The manager of the jewelry dept. Said they often have issues with this piece of jewelry and convinced me a rope chain necklace would do better. So I exchange them and wear the necklace for a few hours. It snags on my shirt and breaks that same day.... at this point Im pretty frustrated and all they say they can do is exchange it once again or send it off to be fixed which will take 4 weeks and that I cannot get a refund. I do the exchange and a hour into wearing the new necklace it snags again! You would think a piece of jewelry with a original price tag of over $1000 should last you more than a hour. I just want my money back and they just act like their hands are tied. So disappointed to have a happy time of my husband wanting to buy me something nice turn into a absolute nightmare. DO NOT BUY ROPE CHAINS FROM HERE!!!

3 /5 Diana S: Ive always enjoyed shopping at JCPenny. But the go-get person for this store is awful. It was not busy at all, and i had to wait 20 minutes go get my items, and thats only because I had to go inside. Then she was rude to me because I asked where my items were. SHE WAS JUST AWFUL AND RUDE. BAD EXPERIENCE... Will never do a curbside pickup unless they hire a more competent person.
