1 /5 N G: Felt scammy. Asked three times for the application to proceed with the quoted new carrier. Never received the application attachment. One claim in last ten years of history, excellent credit, homeowners, more than sufficient income. I’ve never had such a disjointed and difficult experience just to get a quote. After all said and done, can’t proceed because the recommended agency is the only one evidently available for a competitive quote at this time and no other carriers could be recommended. We were not ultimately keen on option A due to many terrible consumer complaints about the company. Really just seemed like J&A didn’t want the business. Disappointed that the only carrier they could advise was a crooked one with questionable business practices. Thought brokers were supposed to cross reference many options, but I guess J&A’s are limited. Anyways, I found several options, myself, for competitive rates in the time I waited for this to fall through.

My questions were always answered promptly and renewal documents sent in a timely fashion. I moved to South Carolina and could not continue dealing with J & A and wish I could find the same level of service here.
