1 /5 Candice Candice: This is my first ever trying good neighbors the woman on the phone was very nice when I called she told me all the info I needed and what day to arrive to get my voucher. I arrived at 9am rang their bell and was left standing at their door in the cold while they stared at me through the glass door finally a tall woman “Pam” opens their door she had the rudest attitude telling first thing she says i need to call first no walk ins point at the number on their door I said I have called and was told to come today to pick up a voucher she asked me if I’ve ever been here before I said no this is my first time. she closes the door in my face left me standing outside. Then comes back says for me to come and sit down and proceeded to ask me the same questions I answered days before on the phone I explained to her Ive already answered these questions she gets up in frustration and says “so you do have a file”I asked you if you ever been here before” I said I’ve never been here this is my first time ever here she says “well I mean you called in and talked to someone” i say yes ma’am I mentioned that to you at the door. y’all the way Pam looked at meee was awful she said let me find your file then. She walks back says they didn’t have my file. I had to show her my other voucher I just got out their drop box then she takes it without saying anything walks off and comes back with two papers she handed it to me rolling her eyes walking off yet again without saying anything to men. I asked for her name she said Pam. Ima be honest this being my first time reaching out for help took a lot of courage for me to do. But the way I was treated by your staff proves “Good Neighbor” is just a name for a building doesn’t mean your “Good People” I will never recommend anyone to this place. People out here in this world that are going through some hard times they come for help not to be treated with the disrespect. I can only imagine how they treat other people
