1 /5 Lizzie Eguiluz: I was set with a home policy going until 2025 before I left on deployment in March 2024. During my time from packing up to go and the actual rotation, I called, left voicemails, and emailed Randy multiple times in regard to my policy, and never got a response back. If I did, it was to reschedule, where then again I still never got a call back. Fast forward, I came back from deployment in June, where I would pick up my mail from USPS due to new construction home where my mail was also misplaced and did not receive anything until the last week of August. When I finally received my mail, I got the letter of notice that my policy had been canceled “due to incomplete application.” I called again the insurance asking what exactly was incomplete that I apparently had not done on my end. They said I completed everything, it was actually the agent who did not complete his portion with taking pictures of my home..and that is why my policy was canceled. Now, I still wanted to do business with Farm Bureau, and wished to be back-dated to April in order to explain to my mortgage company that it was not my fault my policy was canceled. Randy’s company said no and yet proceeded to come to my house yesterday, without giving notice that he was coming onto my property to take pictures. Very unprofessional, you are on someone’s home, a courtesy would be nice. I ended up having to call corporate due to the “no back-dating” answer I received, and corporate said the agent himself cannot decide that, the underwriter does. I understand there are processes, but Randy’s location straight up said no without researching or trying to compensate for their own mistake. Still a pending issue.
